Erik Hall

Founder, Choreographer

Erik is a show choir alumni turned professional singer-dancer-choerographer. He has been involved with music theater and show choir since age 8. Growing up in a small northern Indiana town, he embraced new challenges performing in Chicago while completing his BS in Music Business at Elmhurst College. He moved to San Diego in 2011 to train in dance and performance, then to LA a year later to pursue the commercial dance industry. Since then, he has performed in various projects around LA. Some professional credits include music videos for Pharrell Williams and Ally Brooke, television appearances on GLEE, The Voice, and The Good Place, national commercials for Xfinity, Nissan, and The GAP, and live events like the ALMA and Grammy Awards. Most recently Erik performed in the LA cast of Matilda the Musical and is working on a brand new original musical Americano! Throughout his years, Erik has developed a rich passion for education and mentorship, and is honored to teach all ages in many cities across the US. Erik is proud of his show choir roots and is a committed teacher looking to give back to the community that changed everything for him.

Kristina Sims

Founder, Curriculum Designer

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Kristina Sims is a performer, turned educator, turned entrepreneur. With her BA in Education from Southwestern College, Kristina taught 5th grade in the Maize, KS school district. In the summertime, Kristina connected with some influential show choir persons at Butler College show choir camp. Even though there was almost no show choir presence in the state of Kansas, these directors and choreographers knew Kristina would be an exceptional producer of a program of her own. In 2012 while teaching and finishing her masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, she started Wichita’s first competitive show choir.  Wichita “Flight” quickly gained notoriety, and in its second year won Fame Events “Most Promising New Program” Aspire Award. Uniquely, “Flight” was a community ensemble and had students from 15+ different schools on any given year. With no single school affiliation and funding, Flight operated as a 501-(c)3 Non Profit, and continues to provide opportunities in Kansas (and soon San Diego) via Flight’s Elevate Music and Movement Camp.  Following educational opportunities in San Diego, Kristina moved west and began working with various theater and arts programs. She is currently working as the Visual and Performing Arts coordinator for Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts where she is able to design arts curriculum for core subject classes. Kristina is passionate about pairing quality education with whole-person development and desires to “pay it forward” to help students learn life skills via the arts.
